By adjusting the respiratory resistance, you can increase your lung capacity both at rest and during physical exercise.

To begin, adaptation is the primary goal. Perform deep inhalations and exhalations for 10 to 20 sets.

If the exercises are easy to perform, they can be increased to 30 repetitions. Gradually increase the intensity of physical effort according to your respiratory capacity.

Inspiratory muscle training with this trainer is not recommended for patients with a history of spontaneous pneumothorax (collapsed lung not caused by traumatic injury, e.g., a broken rib), as it may lead to a recurrence of the condition. Following a traumatic pneumothorax and/or broken rib, the breathing trainer should not be used until full recovery.

Inspiratory muscle training is not suitable for asthmatic patients with poor symptom perception and frequent, acute exacerbations.

Inspiratory muscle training is not recommended for anyone with a recent history of a perforated eardrum.

Anyone under the age of 16 should only use the SportReac breathing trainer under adult supervision.
